Political fear-monger Greg Pruett has been trying to scare voters away from the Open Primaries Initiative (OPI) with the preposterous claim that it will bring gun control to Idaho.
Totally erroneous piece by Mr. Jones! While I do support an open primary - this initiative has a hidden time bomb. It is the simple fact they added ‘ranked choice’ as part of this initiative. Totally misleading and an obvious ploy by those supporters to hide it. I have seen how ‘ranked choice’ voting can be gamed first hand, I used to live in Calif. and how it was used to game the entire electoral process. Check out for yourselves how many ballots are tossed out for incorrect or insufficient information completed.
