It is telling that the loudest voices against Prop 1 are those who hold office because of the closed Republican primary in Idaho. Federal and state officeholders who came to power because of Idaho’s corrupt, taxpayer-funded GOP primary are desperate to perpetuate themselves in office. That’s why they are throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Prop 1, the Open Primaries Initiative, hoping to defeat the election reform measure with deceptive claims.
Once again you are engaging in a full cover up what the real issue is. All of its supporters have wrapped up this proposition in the “feel good” argument of open primaries, when it is all about instituting Ranked Choice Voting. This is a very bad system and leads to misunderstanding on voting requirements and encourages ‘gaming’ the process. If it is so good why have so many states gone back or voting on removing it. I have had personal experience and it is all bad. Stop misleading the people!
