About Political Potatoes
Idaho politics isn’t what it used to be. What was once a stronghold of common-sense conservatism has become a playground for grifters, extremists, and out-of-state operatives using fear, outrage, and misinformation to consolidate power.
That’s where Political Potatoes comes in.
We’re here to expose the games, call out the nonsense, and break down the inside baseball of Idaho politics so voters can see what’s really going on behind the scenes. From the Idaho Freedom Foundation’s influence racket to political newcomers running as “conservatives” while pushing an entirely different agenda, we shine a light on the people and organizations working overtime to manipulate voters and rig the system for their own benefit.
We don’t play party favorites. We don’t follow a script. We follow the money, the connections, and the motivations behind the political chaos—because Idaho voters deserve better than manufactured outrage and bad-faith actors pretending to be the voice of the people.
Who’s Behind Political Potatoes?
Political Potatoes was created by Gregory Graf, an Idaho-based digital strategist and political consultant with over 20 years of experience in digital marketing, reputation management, and crisis communications. He’s spent his career cutting through the noise, countering misinformation, and helping voters see the bigger picture.
Graf is the founder of Snake River Strategies, a firm specializing in reputation management, crisis communications, and political strategy. He helped build the Idaho Voter Guide, supports Take Back Idaho, and has worked behind the scenes to push back against the political operatives trying to hijack Idaho’s future. Graf is a life-long republican who wants to see the GOP rid itself of extremists who’ve hijacked the party and turned into something unrecognizable.
Unlike the outrage peddlers making a living off fake controversies, Graf believes in clarity, accountability, and making sure Idaho voters don’t get played.
